چکیده
Abstract In 2017, the mathematics assessments that are part of National Assessment Educational Progress (NAEP) program underwent a transformation shifting administration from paper-and-pencil formats to digitally-based (DBA). This shift introduced new interactive item types bring rich process data and tremendous opportunities study cognitive behavioral processes underlie test-takers’ performances in ways not otherwise possible with response alone. this exploratory study, we investigated problem-solving strategies applied by nation’s fourth eighth graders analyzing collected during their interactions two technology-enhanced drag-and-drop items (one for each grade) included first digital operational NAEP’s assessments. Results research revealed how test-takers who achieved different levels accuracy on engaged various metacognitive (e.g., terms time allocation, answer change behaviors, strategies), providing insights into common mathematical misconceptions fourth- eighth-grade students held steps where they may have struggled solution process. Implications findings educational assessment design limitations also discussed.

15 صفحه اولsimulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
Drag-and-Pop: Accelerating Drag-and-Drop on Large Screens
Drag-and-pop is an interaction technique designed to accelerate drag-and-drop on large screens. By animating potential targets and bringing them to the dragged object, drag-and-pop reduces the user effort required for dragging an object across the screen to a desired target. To preserve users’ spatial memory, targets are not moved away from their original location, but are instead stretched usi...
متن کاملScale-up Strategies for Membrane-Based Desalination Processes: A Review
Membrane-based technologies have increasingly been chosen in desalination processes, which is evidenced by the increase of large-scale plants constructed in recent years. Indeed, several appropriate strategies should be considered to minimize problems faced during the construction, such as membrane system designs, area requirement, energy requirement, operation and maintenance, and environmenta...
